Oil on board. 26 x 21 cm. SOLD
You cant do an exhibition in Alyth without doing a painting of the venerable Pack Bridge. One of several ancient remnants dotted around the town, The Pack Bridge withstood the great floods of 2015 - more modern structures were mercilessly swept away.
This small oil painting has the directness and of a sketch (I muse that some of the painters I most admire are those who had the courage to leave their paintings looking unfinished).
A larger more "finished" version of this scene is framed and ready for viewing in my Bank Street Gallery show.
